WHY BUILD A BMX TRACK?It's cheaper than you think

Sports such as BMX racing are often thought too expensive to implement or have problems of finding enough land available, especially in rural areas. In fact, rural areas have as high a teenage population as younger children yet outdoor play provision for the latter is much more prevalent. Outdoor play facilities for teenagers is not much more expensive either. A suitable BMX pump track, for example, can cost much less than a play area for young children and be far less costly to maintain.

FEATURED BMX TRACKNottingham Outlaws BMX Track

Clark & Kent are the specialist contractor chosen to reconstruct the BMX track in Nottingham to national standards. Clark & Kent supplied and installed a new starting hill with Bensink Gate and all the relevant groundworks to build a national layout. The work included earthworks, excavations and surfacing. The club also commissioned a large car park and a fun drainage scheme. The project includes a separate pump track used for training youngsters and for developing BMX rider skills. The resident Nottingham Outlaws BMX bike club achieved Sport England Clubmark status in 2011.
